I did ask a similar type of question related to Cubase in its User Forum, and the answer was
that better to look for a an other editor, like SoundDiver or MidiQuest. For Matrix-1000, you
can find even dedicated editors, and, there is even a rare Access Matrix-1000 hardware
editor!
