That is an valid argument.



To answer generally:
It is not yet decided finally, what will be placed in the patch
parameters and what in the functions.

Also we have a lot of free storage spots in the "Tape"+"Bank-X" area. So
there is no problem to establish again Tape-C and Tape-D as further
patch parameters.

Also I could imagine something like the TX7 and later Yamaha Synths had:
16 function settings and in the patch one parameter, which selects the
function setting.
This is how I suggested it already for the pattern mode.
