I have an old Ableton Live installation somewhere, but I don't use it
usually. If I follow your description, then this is more likely an
overload of the MIDI-Line by pure amount of data. This might cause a
buffer overflow in the KIWI-3Ps processor. Murray may jump in and tell
us how large the MIDI Buffer of the 3P is.

You may reproduce this by playing such a "drawn" controller stream at an
extreme low tempo (20 bpm). If the problem does not appeare here, then
we have most likely a buffer overflow.
