I don't think it's hard to use once you find out how to get into "edit mode" at all - in my opinion that is the only thing that's not immediately obvious. In fact, I think it is much more intuitive than the original way of editing.

BTW I found a bug in this V2 beta: it's not possible to change the value for C13 (ENV 1 Attack).
