I've seen this happen intermittently on ∗most∗ of the polaris' I've worked on! Very common. Mine does it now and then. Sometimes if you wait 20 seconds the lights go off and it plays normally. I've never investigated a cure for it so if anyone finds it I'll ad it to my website of course which has vast resources on many vintage synth repair issues if you haven't seen it. -Bob sounddoctorin.com/synthtec/synth.htm
