I had a few problem on the build of my mungo for the Juno 6 but the chap in Australia was very helpful. Maybe because I was up late ;o) Got the problem sorted with in a few emails over a few minuets.

Also had a problem with the CHD kit which turned out to be a factory miss wire on the midi socket. took a few seconds to change the wires over but I did think it was strange for the socket to come pre soldered to the kit... I would have needed to desolder it in order to install it in the drill hole anyway.

Useful tip though is to install the kit and test before actually taking a drill or punch to your synths case.

I have installed the CHD two years ago on my MP,very easy to install and work very good. Before this I had a bad experience with the Mungo kit, for me it was complicated to build and they also have never responded to my requests for help so I give up and bought the CHD.
The Kenton are sure the best Midi retrofit of all ,I have them on my Polysix and Ps3200 for many years almost 20 now, never had problems, on polysix will also receive keyboard dynamic on vca-vcf they are sure the most complete.

I went for the mungo kit is was well priced £80 I think and love the way the arp can be set to different timings with midi control including triplets. the only draw backs on it it that as it takes control of your MG2 that mg will no longer adjust seamlessly it will move in the degrees of its timing and as the kit attached to the key assign board rather then the voice board its self the pitch wheel information doesn't bend pitch but steps up or down in semi tones. As if you were just running your finger up the keyboard.

Kenton kits are good but cost a bomb I have one in my Prophet 5 and its very good but don't know if the LFO timings as usefully as on the Mungo one. No experience of the other kit you linked to but it looks fairly generic rather then being made for the monopoly.

Hey peoples.

Which retrofit would you recommend to for the Mono/Poly

I have a Kenton Pro polo but im really tired of all the caples and th extra powersupply.

So far i'm considering:

The Kenton retrofit DIY kit, 380 dollars

The Highly liquid UMR, 41 dollars

Mungo enterprises, dollars

Do you guys know of any other products What would you recommend Price is an issue...
