There is one issue that I am aware of and which will be fixed in the next release. If you feed in notes via midi that are outside the range the 3P can play then these are translated internally to be inside the range. The note off midi commands for notes outside the range are not currently translating correctly in the 3P and the notes get stuck. If you keep midi notes inside the 3P working range until the next release this fault will not happen.

First is that the JX3P sometimes sustains the note without me wanting it to. I then have to switch on and off thus losing the sound I was working with.

Second is that the envelopes don't seem to be affecting the oscillators. They only affect the main out.
