The Kiwi8P does not have this message in the program.

Your computer is not handling the sysex program and the update files are quite large. If you are using Windows and MidiOX try adjusting the buffer sizes and also try what Florian suggests and only run the sysex program with nothing else running.

If you cannot get the update to work the board will need to be reprogrammed using the 6 pin ISP port that is on the Kiwi8P board. If you need to do this get in touch directly and I will supply the link to the tool you need and supply the instructions and files you will also require. This will need a windows computer.

Does this message appear on the JX8p- Display or on your computer? It
sound more like a problem on your computer.

If it is a message on your computer: Shut dow the computer completely.
Start it up again and don't start anything (no browser, no mail,
nothing!) else but the SysEx transfer program, and try the transfer again.
