hi bakis, you a have good idea to have the touch keyboard split into
3 versions. do not forget that the features and models that you
describe are basically tactile or control units. the most important
criteria for these new touch keboard/ sequencers is functions. let's
not get lost into how many knobs and jacks are on the the new
proposed units. let's get to the meat and potatoes of the matter,THE
FUNCTIONS THE UNIT WILL PERFORM. let's have some really thought out
discussions on this matter. the reason is down the road you won't be
wishing you could have such and such a feature because nobody
presented the argument in the first place. you could be left holding
the bag the way some us have with the schaltwerk. the idea here is
to create and or combine features from the past with new ideas for
today and the future. let's think foward and not re-release another
blast from the past. please revisit post # 848 and let's discuss
ideas and functions to create unit that will push the boundaries and
not merely gloss over them.
