Yes, that is the price, Doepfer has to ask for the work to sell you a single knob. The price consists of:

* The price that Doepfer pays for the knob at the knobmaker (assumingly around 30cts, because they buy it in large quantities). plus
* The time it takes to walk to the shelf in the basment, search the right drawer, pull the drawer, pick the knob from the drawer, check it, get back to the packing station, pack it. At least three minutes (and that is assumingly fast). Plus
* The percentage on office-rent, stuffs-salaries, insurances, you name it...


Some times it is quite frustrating, to understand economics.
