Hi,
I own a G6 case with two PSU v2's (one for each bus board) with independent power sockets and switches at the back. This is in order to feed Metasonix r55 modules in the top row. These modules consume massive amounts of 5v .
So as suggested by the Metasonix designer Eric, i had to add a Mean Well +5v switch inside the case:

These are his instructions: "You only need the 5-volt Mean Well. Connect its AC input across the AC mains input of the +-12v power supply in your cabinet. The +5 output goes to the +5 terminal on the bus board, and the GND next to the +5 goes to any ground terminal on the bus board"

So now that I have all components, I need some help to identified the right connectors inside the Doepfer G6.

I uploaded a photo album with photo references of the connectors in both Mean Well and Doepfer g6. According to Metasonix instructions , please confirm if I spot the right connections. Please check.

1st picture:
In the g6 case ( with 2 psu's) picture you can see Mean Well +5v in the top left corner, that's the place where I'm planning to attach it with drilled holes and screws. I removed the top PSU output connectors to have a better look.

2nd picture:
here you see the Mean Well connectors , the GND and -V connects to one of the G6 case GROUND terminals.

3rd picture:
here the G6 psu AC input. There are two red labeled arrows pointing those blue connector caps, the ones saying :DON't KNOW WHAT ARE THESE now i think they are placed there to pass AC power to other psu (in case it's needed) Am I right if not please let me know their purpose.

4th picture:
here i removed the cables and caps to have a better look at the connectors. If the top connectors with the labeled arrows are there to pass AC power to other psu, then , I assume , i have to sold the Mean Well AC inputs there, is that ok (I'll add heat shrink tubbing for protection) , It doesn't matter which Blue or Black AC lead goes to any of the Mean Well Ac inputs , right (please check 2nd picture to confirm) If I'm wrong please let me know.

5th picture:
here I'm showing where the +V = (+5v) output on the Mean Well is going to be connected (as well heat shrink tubbing over solder points for protection), If wrong please let me know.

6th picture
this is just a picture of the g6 psu output just in case you tell me I have to do something here.
