Subject: Polaris bankloader and other stuff for atari 1040 st

Hallo,

I'm new here. I'm a German proud and happy owner of an chroma polaris and I had also done much work concerning the polaris as repairing the contacts of the panel keypad. At time I have a new breakage but no time to fix it.
I have also done much work with programming software on the atari 1040 st. The main piece is a program which loads and saves single sounds, banks or the all sounds at once. This program proves the communication with the polaris and gives hints what is maybe wrong if it doesn't work. There is also included a randomize player to test loaded sounds without going to the polaris and it is possible to change any parameter of the active sound by inputting values.
There is another program to operate any switch on the panel so this is very useful if cables are broken.
The software works with midi communication so you have only connect the atari with midi in and out to the polaris.

If someone is interested in this stuff we have to work out how I can communicate the codes.

More to my person: I'm located in Mannheim, Germany. I'm 50 years old and sadly I have no longer much time to spend on this hobby. Some years ago I had made much crazy things with polaris and other music stuff.

Regards
Albrecht
