Thank you for the input.

I guess there are several forums where there could be a Polaris
subsection.
Jupiter forums.
Vintagesynth forums.
Extech forums.
Analogue heaven.

For now Yahoogroups is good enough I guess. I just started it since it
was the fastest cheap way to get a mailing list going and being able
to share files.
And pherhaps in the future Yahoogroups will become obsolete for
whatever reason. Currently it seems to be fine. I guess Chris Ryan has
dibs on continuing the mailing list. Or if anyone has a good
suggestion what an alternative to Yahoogroups would be its worth
listening to.
