Subject: Polaris Sliders Oddities?

From: "funkjunke" <earworm@...>

Hi everyone, I'm new to thePoalris crowd, just recieved mine today. I
love it so far, sound wise at least. I was just wondering, is the
calibration of the sliders on it completely odd, or is it just mine?
When I move a slider all the way up, like the resonance for instance,
it literally only setst the res at a point that would be equal to
about 4 or maybe 5 (out of the 7 total increments of resonance of
course), but if I put the res slider all the way down, it puts the
res at 100%....so, basically, I'm missing like 20 to 30% of levels in
resonance there....as is the case with ALL of the sliders, all the
way down turns the levels up all of the way, but all of the way up
does not get near the full amount....I'm comparing this with the
sliders when editing it via sound diver, in there, everything works
as should, just not the physical sliders.

So, am I missing some sort of calibration control? I've checked the
text archives on Music Machines, and haven't seemed to find anything
that helps at all for it, although I did find most anything else I
would need to know about using it atm.

So, if anyone has any advice, please let me know....I really dig this
thing, and plan on using it exstensively regardless of this, but it
would be nice to be able to use the sliders to a reasonable extent.

Cheers,
Byron
