thanks for the type of jack, I have the schematic already though, I was looking for an actual photo taken of that part of the inside chassis where the jacks are so I can match the wiring  :)

Hi ,
I had same problem, and substitute the High Output jacks with insulated Mono Jack with internal contacts Normally closed
as you can see in the schematics extract, eclosed in this email.
The Low Output and the Headphones output are also insulated type.

Best wishes

Hi folks,
Thank you for all the support I have seen in this group. I am an original polaris owner. Sometime in the years since I bought it one of the 1/4 in jacks broke, it was plastic, likely to keep it isolated from the case. it is missing that broken jack now. I can most likely find a replacement. Can someone supply me with a couple of close up pics of the inside of the polaris chassis around where the output jacks are to give me a visual on what wires go where? My schematic reading skills are minimal. A visual aid would help tremendously. I Did conquer the front panel workaround and this issue is all that is left from my having once again, a functioning chroma polaris!
Thanks in advance,
Bill
